Setback

I guess we all have them at some point. So I've injured my right Achilles tendon almost 1/2 way into my training program for the Kona 70.3 in June. Which means no running for me until it feels better. It sucks, since running is my weakest part of the race. I definitely don't need any time off from it. On the bright side, I still can swim, somewhat bike have a job where I don't have to be on my feet all day.  On another note, after reading  a lot of  reviews about Cobb V-Flow Plus Saddle  I decided to place my order in for one....

Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

So you all probably heard about the major earthquake and tsunami in Japan by now. Here in Hawaii, a tsunami watch was posted and the sirens started going off. With a few hours of sleep the night before and a long bike ride on the trainer, the last thing I wanted to hear was sirens going off every hour. Luckily my ear plugs held and didn't hear anything till it was time to get up for work. Damage here on Oahu was nothing compared to what happened...

Fish Wraps

I'll be honest, paying bills, race entry fees and training makes life a little tough at times. Sometimes, you'll have to choose the cheaper option. Which leads to last nights dinner.
